Because it won’t ever remember
What you choose to forget

This verse just struck me so deep. It’s not the camera per se, but everything that considers a ‘point-of-view’. Do we really want to write or take a picture etc. for a sake of capturing a certain mood? Is it really good to just remember what you want to remember? It’s so  fitting to what has happened to me— almost like a literal metaphor. (Of course the verse doesn’t refer to just that but I choose to see it that way)

‘Just drink until the clock has circled all the way’

And I can’t say just how much I adore this metaphor. Nonchalant but not exactly with the seen-it-all kind of world-weariness.
