Do man-made systems and values really suck? (Incomplete)

I was going to blog about how some people reject certain values because they’re ‘man-made’, like justice, societal values, morals and so on and how they compare it to animals— well, animals, they don’t need to do this-and-that at all! (I’m treating humans separate from animals because they referred humans as a separate group.)

My main points would be 1. all these can only be man-made and a lot of other things are but that doesn’t mean that is a cause for rejection and aren’t essential 2. animals have them too. Justice is a system of dealing with ‘wrongdoers’ and morals are norms that just illustrate how organisms and beings in a certain society are expected to behave. (Certain animals) Animals have all these too, they deal with justice and moral in a savage fashion but that doesn’t mean its not justice and morality— it is sujective to individual societies. And all these are animal-made as well.

If anyone responds with interest (or maybe I don’t need anyone to respond with interest), I shall blog about this at length next time.

Note to self: talk about how they are essential, add to point #1

In point form

(The above post was supposed to be #1 but I liked it so much so that I separated it.)

2. I’m blunt but I offer band aids and antiseptic to my victims.

3. So the CGI:IRC link is closed. (more…)
