Still alive and well and capable of thought.

Just not in the mood to be here and ‘technically’, I shouldn’t have time to be here, so there.

You could maybe check back at around the end of September or October to see me hopping around again.

I don’t want to limp around half-dead, spewing crap in this place such that I have to delete it again and start anew. (Though frankly, I’ve been considering the move back to blogspot)

Songs

Songs I’m currently listening to. Country + alternative + metal + oldies + nu-Jazz + pop, how strange. I truly <3 Mariah Carey, around the only pop I listen to, and I think she’s beautiful in a special way and I seldom say this of anyone.

Charlotte Sometimes, go checkkkkkkk her outttttt! http://www.myspace.com/charlottesometimesmusic ”How could I just kill a man” is some awesome shit. “AEIOU” is truly special.

1. ”When you say nothing at all” specifically by Allison Krauss

2. “23″, Jimmy Eat World

3. “Nothing Else Matters”, Metallica

4. “How could I just kill a man”, Charlotte Sometimes

5. “AEIOU”, Charlotte Sometimes

6. “Love Hurts”, Incubus (don’t judge it by the title)

7. “Fields of Gold”, Sting

8. “Bye Bye” and ”Touch my body”, Mariah Carey

Of "Leave this town" sounding more than familiar in whiny pop punk songs

After being engaged in a particular activity for some time, you begin to notice strange trends, like in the case of overwhelming trend of the phrase ‘leave this town’ in songs (particularly whiny pop punk songs).

I know Yellowcard has them, its also Bowling for Soup’s life supports, of course, Simple Plan can’t miss out the fun, blink 182 savours it too, Sum 41 technically digs it too, and following a search at google, a “mind-googling” result belted out names like Walter Trout, Brodie, The Levellers, Thin Lizzy on the first page.

If everyone were to leave their town, then where to? We all seem to dislike the things naturally attached to us– the place we’re in, the family we’re born into, the body we have (emaciated souls like yh wanting to be fat O_O while the rest of the world watches with envy).

Further substantiates my speculation that the world would be displaced in years (and probably more years) to come and the world’s racial percentages would be relatively equal.

Gah, I need motivation. *tries to kick The Pro-Crastinator out of the door* Need to start on work. Need to start on work. Need to start on work.

The trees are in misery, and the birds are in misery. I don’t think they sing. They just screech in pain. Taking a close look at what’s around us, there is some sort of harmony: it’s the harmony of overwhelming and collective murder. - Werner Herzog
